Off-Campus Library Access
Yes! Like our databases, Electronic Reserves is limited to currently enrolled students and Carroll faculty via the Internet. Access to both electronic and traditional or paper reserves are organized by class name and or instructor name, and are avaliable through the online library catalog. You will need to type in your Carroll University username and password (the same username and password you use to logon the computers or the my.carrollu.edu site). Other concerns... Due to plug ins and PDF - pop-ups, Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or higher is recommended or Safari 4.0 for Mac users. If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer, make sure you are using version 7.0 or higher and pay attention to the information bar for blocked pop-ups or plug-in notices. The University is currently using Adobe Reader 9.0 for viewing PDFs. If you need this software, please visit http://www.adobe.com. If you are new to campus, have forgot your password, or your password is not working, you will need to visit the ITS help desk with your ID. As a security precausion ITS cannot give your password out over the phone. For more information about your Carroll username and password visit the ITS page, call 262.524.7229 or email the help desk at helpdesk@carrollu.edu. Still can't get access? If you have followed the directions above and are still not able to gain access to the library databases or reserve, please contact the Information Desk at (262) 650-4892 or contact Electronic Resources Librarian, Nancy Bennett at 262-650-4886. |
